Warrior Helms For PvP
So, I was curious as to what other warriors run for PvP out there in terms of helms. Do they use Strength which is universal or a Weapon Mastery?
Personally, I run a Strength Helm. When running Primal Rage, it lasts for 14 seconds instead of 12 and it works with any weapon. Also, when running WE, WE never has downtime due to it lasting 3 seconds longer than the recharge. At 14 Strength, Body Blow does as much +damage as Executioner's Strike at 14 Axe Mastery but for 1 less adrenaline.
I know Weapon Mastery = More damage however I'm a fan of Strength helm.
So, what do you other Warriors wear as the attribute helm for PvP and why?

+Weapon Mastery, 1 extra second on your stances and 1% AP dont make up for the extra damage provided by +1 Weapon Mastery (although i could be wrong, im just guessing). Also why do need an extra 3 seconds coverage on WE? you only need it to last the recharge time.

I strongly prefer mastery on my helms, and in the rare cases when 14 strength is required (ie [[Engraging Charge]) I will typically use a major rune so that I can maintain 14 in my mastery.
Otherwise, going higher in strength may be more convenient (and saving minimal amounts of energy I suppose) but is not as effective.

WE is the only time I'd run a strength head helm.
other than that weapon mastery.

Strength.
Because the +% damage of weapon mastery of having 14 instead of 13 is retardedly low, and +Strength gives you longer stances and same amount of damage on skill usage.

I usually run major of whatever I'm using like axe or hammer with the same +1attribute on helm and a minor or sometimes major strength

Strength if running Hammer with [Enraging Charge] or Sentinel's insignias. Everything else is pretty much weapon mastery, although it does depend on a build.
P.S. And no majors, that's more like becoming a liability to your team.

I don't play warrior much but all the warriors i play with use +1 weapon, the only exception is using 14 strength for enraging charge in a dev hammer bar.
I think its pretty safe to say that if your using a strength helm outside of enraging charge then your doing it wrong.

Higher the weapon mastery the better your % becomes to critical strike and obviously scales with skills in the same line. Don't see any point to running 14 stren unless you want +4 adren from enraged or want to use that Sentinels insignia without weakness effecting it.

Axe for Axe. Sword for Sword. Strength for Hammer, only because I need the 14 Strength breakpoint for [[Enraging Charge]. I almost never use Tactics.

If you use Sentinel's you have problems that no helmet can solve

The argument between Survivor versus Sentinel's can go on forever. Please, don't start it.

You are wrong. Sentinel's for chest is excellent because all non-projectile/weapon damage hits the chest (all aoes, rodgort's, etc), the rest of the armor is debatable between sent/surv/radiant-for-shock.
Also: weapon for axe/sword, str for hammer, majors are bad (mostly)

That was long time ago (if ever). Now it's:
* Head - 12.5% (1/8)
* Chest - 37.5% (3/8)
* Hands - 12.5% (1/8)
* Legs - 25% (2/8)
* Feet - 12.5% (1/8)
IMHO, Sentinel's is good in GvG, 8vs8, etc. But yeah, if you only play RA, go Survivor's. Mostly a matter a preference though.

I know those numbers, but I was under the impression that they only applied to attacks and things like [lightning orb].

Nope, wrong, same as for the guy that deleted his post earlier (I removed the quote). Everything has a chance to hit everything. Even AoE.
I was pretty sure of this, but just went and tested in scrimmage to confirm this before posting. I suggest you do the same.
